Phew. Now, I'm new to this "Facebook" thing, but I can tell you I caused a mini-riot by referencing my love of Scarecrow & Mrs. King in my status update.

Now, the truth is, I love almost any program or movie where a couple solves crimes. I've talked about Bones plenty before, and even discussed its wonderful similarities with S&MK. What I haven't perhaps gone on about are all the other ones: Remington Steele, Moonlighting, Hart to Hart - plus the The Thin Movie series, even that ridiculous one where Joan Crawford & Fred MacMurray (!) are on their honeymoon and have to outwit the Gestapo in service to the Queen.

Now, I guess my point is, if you're interested in catching up with Lee & Amanda, trot on over to this website - turns out hulu isn't the only game in town. And if you just want a little nostalgia bump, check out the opening credits below.

Achtung! Baby!

We all know Amber is a big fan of the multi-baby phenomenon. Me, I think they're kind of gross, and I certainly think they have no place in advertising.

However, here at Internals Plural we celebrate all view points. And so, here's some grossness.

This brave little buddy sure is a smarty. I can't remember if this move is from one of the Charlie's Angels movies or Mission Impossible or what, but color me impressed.



I love too how his little buddies watch on with great interest.

Loves at First Bite

Amber and I sure had a fun time watching Love At First Bite a while back, as discussed elsewhere. We had both seen it on the Channel 56 Sunday Afternoon Movie back when we were "tweens" (and before that word was invented), and our fond memories were well-justified.

I was overwhelmed by the similiarites between LAFB (1979) and Splash (1984), and not just because both star sitcom actors in the 'straight man' role, looking to break out in Hollywood (Tom Hanks & Susan St. James, of course - Tom won). Both feature the 'fish out of water' scenario, with Dracula in the first case and, um, a fish in the second. Both have a Eugene Levy character trying to out the protagonist: Richard Benjamin in the former, and, um, Eugene Levy in the latter. And both (spoiler alert!) feature a happy ending with our lovers traveling over/under the ocean to enjoy their new, altered, lives together.

Love at First Bite had the most Roots jokes though, and the most number of The Jeffersons' actors. The preview alone is fantastic.
