How much fun was the Cape? So much so that I have Bonus Content to post about!
We were disappointed not to attend the Wine & Chesse tasting.
We were overwhelmed by the bounty of Cape Cod™ Potato Chips to be found at the Falmouth Stop & Shop.
This is one of the many Kinbotian notes left around the Estate as helpful hints for us. I thought about pilching this one to bring home for my own trigger-lighter.
And finally, who doesn't love puns, Cape Cod style?
So it turns out babies grow, and if you give them an outfit sometimes it's smart for it to be too big, because eventually it'll fit them and you'll get a fun picture in the mail one day.
Here she is at some little girl birthday party - as the story goes, all the other little girls were in pink frilly things, but not Miss Millie - I'm sure she stole the show in her NYC high fashions.
Her mum, Shelley, is a dear friend, and I hope I can visit them soon, since I'm clearly not very good at keeping up friendships via email. Epistolary is not my middle name. It's Rene.
It's pretty clear to me that the fella percolating in my sister's tum is related to me by blood.
Anyway, now is as good a time as any to dip once more into the Past. We peeked at my 4th grade class photo already, let's see how well we do with finding me in 3rd grade. Hint: my nose is pretty similar to my nephew's...
One great thing about Vacation was how good Sarah & I got at Badminton. Part of the reason we got so good was on account of these Sports Authority Headbands we got to intimidate our opponents.
So last night Amber and I watched Caprice, Doris Day's 1967 flick with Sir Richard Harris.
Now, I picked the movie out of the masses at the NYPL because the cover, as depicted above, screamed out to me. It promised to be a zingy mix of Alias & With Six You Get Eggroll, and how could that possibly go wrong?
Now, to be sure, this is as promised my new favorite movie. However, it wasn't until after we had watched all 98 minutes and had started in on the bonus features that we discovered it was in fact a spy spoof. The fact that Doris & Sir Richard were spies looking for the secret formula for waterproof hairspray? We weren't in on the joke.
Lesson learned. Sometimes, you DO want to watch the bonus content first.
The only way to find some mirth this AM as I prepare to go back to work from vacation is to find a precedent through Art of how to handle the day to come.
