Mostly, it was the ballads.
Most interesting thing about his passing? Not that he was only 47 and it was probably alcohol-related, that part's just sad. It's this nugget from the NYT obit:
Mr. Lane was born John Kennedy Oswald on Feb. 1, 1964 in Akron, Ohio. (His parents named him after President John F. Kennedy, undeterred by the fact that they shared the last name of the suspect in the assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald.)
Really, Grey Lady? "the suspect in the assassination"? I guess some conspiracy theories go deep.
